Our History

Giuseppina and Gino, parents of the current owner, rented this small holiday home with a few rooms to a lady from Bologna who, together with them, took care of the guests for about six years.
It was then that Giuseppina , passionate about the profession, decided to take the reins and manage it with the rest of the family, and then leave it in the hands of one of her daughters, Luciana , who with her husband Adolfo , continued the tradition with love and determination.

The name is inspired by the figure of the horse in memory of his father. In fact, Gino called “E' Chéc” (Checco in Romagna dialect) with his splendid carriage and his dear horse “NELLO” used to take tourists around to get to know Rimini telling them curious anecdotes and legends of the place.
He was a great lover of horses, so much so that he had two magnificent sculptures made in the shape of a horse's head, which today adorn the entrance to the hotel, inspired by the sculptures seen at the home of Fabio Concato's grandparents , who came on holiday to Viserba , his long-time friends.
The generations to come will treasure the invaluable experiences of the past and will continue to welcome you with warmth and friendliness, finding the perfect balance between tradition and innovation, while never forgetting our humble beginnings.
As of 2026, the pillars of our history have chosen to slow down and enjoy a well-deserved retirement. This passing of the torch has led us to make an important decision.
Starting from May 2026, our hotel will offer Bed & Breakfast (overnight stay with breakfast) or room-only accommodation exclusively.
Full board will no longer be available.
This change stems from our desire to dedicate more time, more care, and even more attention to you, while preserving the same warmth and hospitality you have always known.
Our story begins a new chapter…
We look forward to writing these pages together with you.
