The origins
It all begins in 1950.
When a small holiday house overlooking the Viserba seafront took the name of Villa Perazzini.
Since then, under the same roof, the generations of a single family — the Perazzinis — have passed on the torch with the same passion as on day one.
From Giuseppina to today.
1970s
Luciana and Adolfo take over.
Giuseppina's daughter, together with her husband, carries the tradition forward with love and determination, welcoming the same guests as family year after year.
1993
Hotel Criniera d'Oro is born.
After years of hard work, the old building gives way to a brand-new structure: a fresh chapter, written under the same name and with the same spirit.
2026
A new chapter: B&B only.
Adolfo and Luciana, the pillars of this adventure, have chosen to enjoy their well-earned retirement. The baton passes to those who will continue to welcome you with the same warmth as always.
From May 2026 we focus exclusively on Bed & Breakfast (overnight stay and breakfast) or room only. Full board will no longer be available.
A choice born of a clear wish: to give you more time, more attention and more pampering. Less rushing in the kitchen, more care for every detail of your holiday.
Why "Criniera d'Oro"
A name that is a tribute.
The hotel's name is a tribute to grandpa Gino, known as "E' Chëc", and to his great passion for horses.
With his splendid carriage and his faithful horse Nello, Gino took the tourists out to discover Rimini, sharing local tales and legends.
That love lives on today in the two horse-head sculptures that welcome you at the entrance — inspired, curiously enough, by those at the grandparents' home of Fabio Concato, long-time friends of the family on holiday in Viserba.
