What BEX is
BEX – Beyond Exploration Expo is the new international event dedicated to the space economy and commercial spaceflight, promoted by Italian Exhibition Group with the Emilia-Romagna Region. The first edition runs at the Rimini Expo Centre from Wednesday 23 to Friday 25 September 2026, partly overlapping with Tecna.
Three days of B2B meetings, workshops and training sessions covering the whole supply chain - transport systems, propulsion, orbital modules - and its very down-to-earth applications: food, fashion, healthcare, logistics, automotive. The Beyond Nxt area is reserved for startups, universities, research centres and NGOs.
Where to stay for BEX
Being a first edition, BEX shares its week with Tecna: demand for rooms in Rimini during those days is high. Viserba, about 4 km from the exhibition centre, remains an area where finding a room is easier, with a few minutes by car to the entrances.
Hotel Criniera d’Oro is a family-run three-star hotel, with a covered underground garage (at extra cost), a sweet and savoury buffet breakfast, from 7:30 to 11:30, free Wi-Fi and rooms with a private terrace or balcony. Viserba station is 450 metres away, and the packed lunch is booked the evening before. The sea is 180 metres from the door.
