What Tecna is

Tecna is the international show of technologies and supplies for the ceramic and surface industry, the direct successor to Tecnargilla. The 29th edition runs at the Rimini Expo Centre from Tuesday 22 to Friday 25 September 2026 and looks set to be the largest yet: 450 exhibitors expected and around 30,000 visitors from over 100 countries, with an incoming programme bringing more than 250 selected buyers to Rimini and over thirty ceramic manufacturers’ associations from around the world.

It is a long fair - four full days - and strongly international: most people who come stay in the city for the whole week.

Where to stay for Tecna

With four days of exhibition, sleeping well makes a difference. Viserba di Rimini is about 4 km from the exhibition centre: a few minutes by car, without crossing the city centre and without the crush of the streets around the entrances.

Hotel Criniera d’Oro is a family-run three-star hotel, in the Perazzini family since 1950. You will find a covered underground garage (at extra cost), available at extra cost, connected by lift, a sweet and savoury buffet breakfast, from 7:30 to 11:30 so you can set off unhurried, free Wi-Fi and adjustable air conditioning in the room. If lunch at the venue is a problem, we prepare a packed lunch on request. Viserba station is 450 metres away on foot.

September in Viserba is still high season: the beach is 180 metres away and the partner beach club is right in front of the hotel. After four days of exhibition halls, it makes for a different kind of evening.
