What Wake Up Call is

Wake Up Call is the large financial-education event run by Alfio Bardolla Training Group: three days of live sessions on personal finance, investing, business and leadership, with international trainers on stage. The September 2026 edition runs at the Rimini Expo Centre from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September 2026, and is also streamed online.

It is a long event — three full days, morning to evening, all in one place — and people travelling in stay in the city for the whole weekend.

That same weekend, half an hour away by car, the Misano Grand Prix takes place. Between the two, the riviera runs at capacity: rooms sell out months in advance.

Where to stay for Wake Up Call

With three days that finish in the evening, sleeping close by makes a difference. Viserba di Rimini is about 4 km from the exhibition centre: a few minutes by car, without crossing the city centre and without the crush of the streets around the entrances.

Hotel Criniera d’Oro is a family-run three-star hotel, in the Perazzini family since 1950. You will find a covered underground garage (at extra cost), connected by lift, a sweet and savoury buffet breakfast, from 7:30 to 11:30, so you can set off unhurried, free Wi-Fi and adjustable air conditioning in the room. If your days in the hall run long, we prepare a packed lunch on request. Viserba station is 450 metres away on foot.

September in Viserba is still high season: the beach is 180 metres away and the partner beach club is right in front of the hotel. After three days indoors, the evening feels different. We are also pet friendly (dogs up to 10 kg).
